CoolSculpting Fat Reduction
the #1 nonsurgical fat reduction treatment
Permanently reduce fat cells by up to 25% per treatment
Genetics, lifestyle, or gravity—no matter the culprit, many of us have bulges of stubborn fat that remain even with exercise and a healthy diet. CoolSculpting is an easy, safe, non-invasive way to lose those unwanted rolls with no surgery and no downtime.
Expert Certified CoolSculpting Technician
Our CoolSculpting specialist, Andrea Rozanek, is double certified by Allergan and Zeltiq and has over 7 years of experience. She has treated over 5,000 CoolSculpting areas and is a true professional.
Dual Sculpting at Manhattan Dermatology
With 2 CoolSculpting machines, we are able treat multiple areas at the same time—a huge timesaver! You can have both flanks treated at once and be on your way in half the time.
How does it work?
CoolSculpting’s revolutionary technology uses controlled cooling to target and crystallize fat cells. These “frozen” fat cells gradually die off and are naturally eliminated from your body. In the weeks and months following treatment, remaining fat cells condense, reducing the fat layer and revealing a slimmer you. You’ll see up to 20-25% reduction in fat layer thickness after a single session.
Which areas of the body do we treat with CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared to treat visible fat bulges in 9 areas of the body—including abdomen (muffin top), bra line, inner thighs, chest (gynecomastia), hips, waist (love handles), flanks, inner thighs, knees, beneath the buttocks (banana roll), and chin. The results are amazing! Some common side effects include temporary numbness, discomfort, and swelling.
What happens during the procedure?
Before treatment, you will meet with Andrea for a complimentary consultation. There she will physically assess your treatment areas, discuss your body contouring goals, and make a treatment plan.
During the procedure, Andrea will apply a suctioning device (or 2) to the surface of the skin which targets and cools the fat cells. Treatment last about 35-60 minutes, and patients can spend procedure time reading, working on their laptops, or simply relaxing.
CoolSculpting vs. Liposuction
A method of fat removal, liposuction is a surgical procedure that requires individuals to undergo general anesthesia. It works by using large tubes to pull out fat from targeted areas of the body, leaving individuals with immediate results. However, it is an invasive procedure, painful, pricey, and can require weeks of recovery. CoolSculpting is much more affordable surgery, virtually painless, and has no downtime.
CoolSculpting vs. Diet & Exercise
Your health—in addition to your appearance—is largely reliant on a well-balanced diet and regular exercise. CoolSculpting shouldn’t take the place of either of these, but rather act as an aid that can help you accomplish your body goals. Diet and exercise can help reduce the appearance of fat cells, but they do not permanently rid your body of them. CoolSculpting freezes fat cells and killing them for good, enhancing your diet plan and serving as great encouragement for continuing a healthy lifestyle.
